Looking at those pics of the Jumbo Sousaphone on eBay really inspired to me to do something about my Monster. I have always thought about getting it "fixed up", but now I REALLY want to "fix" it up! I think that I could save up enough before I graduate in the spring of 2002 to "overhaul" it as they say in the business.:^) It has several noticable dents in the body of the Sousaphone that I would love to get out, and here is the kicker! I really want to get it re-silvered! I don't want to get it unsoldered and undented without being re-silvered. I know that re-silvering a Sousaphone is about $2000, but mine is quite large! Mine weighs twice as much as any other school Sousaphone. How much would it be to even re-silver my Monster?
(I understand this sounds like a pipe dream, but OH WELL!!) Thanks for any inquiries!
