Thanks for the info., but I would not want the Sousaphone to be stripped by any means!! I would like it vigorously polished, as to get rid of all the tarnish residue. I believe it was Joe S. or somebody who said they just had thier euphonium re-plated over the existing older silver, and that is the definite way I would like to do it! The more silver, the better I figure!:^) Plus, wouldn't they charge me more since my Sousaphone is so much larger than any Eb horn? And I don't think that I would want the horn TOTALLY disassembled. I know I sound like someone who doesn't want an overhaul, but I JUST WANT DENTS TAKEN OUT AND IT TO BE RE-SILVERED, WITHOUT IT HAVING TO BE STRIPPED. If you could share a little feedback, that would be stupendous!
