My son wii be a junior this year. He is an all state HS tuba player as well as an all region double bass player.He marches,plays in the symphony and also plays in a big swing band with the bass. We have to send 3 kids to college so there is not a lot of money available. I would like any suggestions as to how to get him scholarship money.
Does being able to play in the symphony as well as the jazz band have any value? What schools would need this talent? How would I get the word out to the departments? Any other observations or suggestions would be appreciated. thanx Pete
