Well, I would have to go with an education degree. If you think about it, if you are a killer tuba player, you can get a gig anywhere, degree or not, but, you cant get a teaching licsence without a degree. If you are a performance major, and you cant get a gig, you are outta luck as far as teaching goes, but, if you have that education degree to back you up, you have a lot better chance of supporting yourself and your family.
