You're not alone!!! Yes, I still know the atomic weight of osmium and the details of high-reynolds number, multi-phase flow through porous media, even 20 years post grad school. My wife has learned to casually asks me to do complex mortgage calculations in my head when I'm nearly asleep, and fully expects the correct answer right away.

After years of watching me determine the number of pizzas to order based on the number of square inches of pizza that I expect each person to eat, and similar approaches to life, my wife has declared that engineering is not a career, rather, it is a mental illness. Her conclusions about engineers who also play tuba are somewhat frightening.

Oddly enough, I have come to depend upon my wife's intuition and conclusions in these types of things.

Rock on, practice everyday and don't care what anyone else thinks about it.
