The only Weril I'm familiar with is the tiny 4valve that is no bigger than the Yamaha he has now- which he will out grow before the end of the school year. Is there another Weril that I don't know about?
His tuba at school is a PT-1, used with a tripod. this is a bit unwieldy for him but he has no trouble filling it. His personal tuba would not be used at school on a day to day basis.
I also have thought about switching him to CC. He has the smarts to handle such a switch easily. Anyone else have thoughts on starting CC early? The list of horns would get quite a bit longer... How about arguments against doing such a thing?
