Not since I got the horn, but every time I take out the second valve slide to oil the valve, it looks suspiciously greenish, and the interiors of the slides look this way too. If only I knew how to take out rotors...A Brass Saver might do the trick on the slides.
I actually did get a bottle of Zymol car wax stuck in the bottom bow of the 187, which required a delicate extraction process(i.e. gently banging the horn on the carpet till it came out.)
We found a complete, halfway decomposed bird in one of our 20J's last year. The horn was impossible to center, and would not play anything above pp volume. We sent it to the repairman, and the rest is history.
