I know two people in the past 10 years who played the Beversdorf for successful college auditions (Eastman, Indiana, Northwestern, Michigan and others). If your question is whether or not you can play it on an audition and be successful, it depends on how well you play it. I personally like the piece quite a bit and think it's a good vehicle for musical expression. Whatever floats your boat...
