Greyhound may be okay if they can do a point-to-point with your package. However, too often, shipping involves transferring buses--and some of those carriers are very likely not Greyhound. The last time I used the dog bus, the shipping clerk printed out six feet of transfer tags--many involving other carriers. The tuba got where it was going, but if it hadn't, the most that Greyhound would've paid me was $300.
