unfortunatly right now, the market for Rotary tubas right now is the pits. I have seen a couple 601's go unsold for less than $2300, and I have seen a 5 valve sell for $2500, almost brand new. Last month a student of mine picked up a great piggy for about $1400. I think this is a same because while it's true that not all Cerveny tubas are great, most are quite good, and some are fantastic. this horn sounds like the same one that has been put up for auction twice with no takers, and somebody has offered to buy it directly. If I had the money right now, I would jump all over it.
