look at buying a contra or bass tuba of my own? Right now I play a school owned VMI 3301 4 valve BBb. It's a good horn and I can get plenty of sound out of it. I play solo, quintet, orchestra and band, next year I'll add brass choir too. Should I get an F and use the schools horn for big ensembles or get a really nice 4/4 CC?
