I am a recreational 4 valve BBb horn player and have just joined up with a community orchestra. Since there are no string basses in this group, as yet, I have been playing the string bass parts, to the best of my abilty. But I have run across a note for which I can't find a fingering. It's E sharp, first line below the staff. I have checked the Tubenet fingering chart and nothing matches. I have tried a few of my own valave combinations, with no luck.
Any suggestions as to the fingering for this mystery note??
