Hello,
Mr. Porkony used a B&S F tuba on his solo cd. He also used his 4/4 and 6/4 Hirshbrunners. As for what mouthpiece I am not sure, I know back then on his Yorkbrunner and the CSO York he was using a Schilke Helleberg II and occasionally the Dillon M1C.
I think he is now using all Laskey mp's. I heard a rumor that he helped Scott Laskey with the development of the Laskey 30H by doing some tests with the CSO York in a hall looking for ways to improve upon the Schilke. Anyone else care to shed some light on this?
