I have collected several old euphs from 1860 on and although the mouthpipe bores and valves are obviously small, the bores of the tuning slides are huge. This became a problem when I was missing 2 slides from a 5 valve Highams, eventually using ld e flat bass tuba slides to match.
Any thoughts?
