There is a tuba posted for sale on that auction site...item # 2564095261...it happens to be located very nearby and the shop that refurbished it is the best in the area...it dates to abt. 1966 according to the serial number. I am in the market to purchase a used 186 or MW25 for my son (HS junior) and this is in my price range. I know it is difficult to offer an opinion without playing a horn, but I am interested in feedback related to the asking price for a horn of this vintage. I am also wondering about the linkages which appear to be original. Should these be replaced or upgraded? You can email me directly if you prefer to keep your opinions silent from other readers.
