Well, I at any rate wanted to know what kept waking me up in the middle of the night. sounded lke a diesel engine running right next to my window, just there was complete silence for everyone else. So, had a hearing tes done, discovered losses appropriate for someone 40 years old when I was only 25. Next thing was that I got earplugs customized that donīt distort what i hear, but just take the volume down. Actually itīs quite ok to play with those, you can still mach easily with everone around you! They call them othoplastics or something like that, and they come with up to 3 different sound-filters you can exchange according to your need or accoustical surrounding, though usually the medium one does the job perfectly well.
