This just reminded me of the Universal Law of Scholarships: the more easily available scholarships are for your degree, the more difficult it is to make a living after you graduate. I easily had music scholarships, followed by poverty, and even with a 4.0 average in engineering school, I had no (engineering) scholarship until my senior year, although I got full tuition rebate to play in the orchestra.
