Right now I double on BBb tuba and bass bone. I hope to move to CC some time this year, when I get around to trying out some tubas. I play a Conn bass bone, 110H I think with a Doug Yeo replica mouthpiece. It works well, except for my trigger range but I think the horn is stuffy down there because I don't have much trouble with other horns. I play bass bone in jazz ensemble and in a trombone quartet, tuba in wind ensemble and brass quintet. I'm doing fine as of now, I just hope I don't confuse myself (fingerings vs. slide positions) when I switch to CC... : )
