Naw, if I remember Malvina Reynolds right, she said that she was looking at Foster City when she wrote "little boxes". And yeah, I remember the Carol Doda TV36 ads; the odd thing even then was that Carol Doda's was in North Beach.
I confess that I used to go listen to the SF Symphony whenever it came to Flint Center at DeAnza College. Never made too many SJSO concerts--couldn't stand the airport noise.
