Whoa, John! I'm not offended, what gave you that idea? I assume you're referring to the comment about differences in the Bach mouthpieces. I didn't mean anything by my statement, just that I couldn't find any information that showed the two models were different on the inside. If you know where to find that info, I'd sure like to see it myself. My two Bach 18s felt pretty much identical but, as we all know, that may not mean much. What I found most telling was the fact that the two mouthpieces played nearly identically. That is what led me to believe that there really isn't any interior difference between the two. If the throat of the Megatone is bored out, I should be experiencing some changes in the intonation, right? Again, empirical evidence leads me to believe that the two are essentially the same, aside from the exterior mass.
Besides, I'd prefer to gang up on old Joe and prove him wrong! ;-)
