Absolutely. If Harvey Phillips had made the Carioca "famous", it would be "famous" to about 268 people. I've heard some great old renditions of that tune. The ones that are quicker (cut time -ish) and sound more like the "Desi Arnaz Orchestra" [sic] are the renditions that perk me up.

The worst that I ever heard:

eight university tuba professors playing the novelty solo in "unison" (term defined very very loosely) with the Tennessee Tech Concert Band quite a few years ago.
