My choice would be a King 2341, in a heartbeat. The Conn is a good horn, but small; too small for large, loud ensembles like community bands. The King will hold its own there, but without being so big that it can't be used in small ensembles where the Conn also works well. The King just seems a better all-around horn. And the new version that came out this year is getting great reviews. But I'd be happy with the old version for the money that good used examples cost.
