Trombone on the wall

Please forgive the off-topic post. I'd like advice on a somwhat battered
trombone hanging on the wall of a local shop. ("taken in trade")

It's a Conn (no model name or number visible). F-trigger is a bit
funky looking (the level is a constant diameter, very small diameter,
piece of metal, with no pretense of any sort of "paddle") but the rotor
works smoothly. The bell appears to me to be larger than my son's
beginner straight tenor, but not "huge". The bell is engraved with a cute
trio of marching band figures (probably labelling this as a "student" horn?)

Slide just barely fails the "gravity test" (it falls to about 5th position
and holds on - apparently the inner slides are not *quite* parallel)

No dents or creases, typical lacquer wear. No case.

Asking price is $200 - how far wrong can I go at that price? Intended use
is a "starter"instrument, for me! Or, I could hang it on the wall...
