Yep, the full stomach is a real gas when you are trying to play so the idea is to get it moderately full and let it settle before you rehearse. You will do a lot to avoid sugar crashes then. Complex carbs are good, like a plate of spaghetti but just enough to feel as you have eaten, not so much that you feel full. But you know all that, I am sure.
The other thing no one seems to have mentioined is what golfers call the "yips." It ends a lot of professional golfers' carees and I am told, by lawyers, they get it later in their careers, too and can't address a jury. Isn't getting older wonderful!
