Physics... Go to your library and get an accoustics book. Calculate how many vibrations per second a double pedal C is. It will be surprisigly few. The, you take your toungue, and vibrate it that many times... or as close as possible. this is how I've had it explained to me. I have however seen a few people who could use their lips to play it... Usually people with lots of meat on their chops, and big mouthpieces. Good luck
