Maybe nobody mentioned John Fletcher because he is quite famous in the tuba world (the posting was about "unsung heroes" of the tuba). I think "Fletch" was probably the greatest musicians ever to play the tuba. He was a very nice man and played the tuba in such an effortless, singing way. Cheers to him!
