When I had a lesson with Mr. Huge in 2001, he was playing on a 62H, but with a Mt. Vernon 2G!!! Even more amazing that he gets such a tremendous sound on such a small mpc. If I do remember though, his embouchoure was not terribly big. Rather small looking chops, so he didn't need a toilet bowl Schilke 61!

Re: SNO recordings, anything they did in that period, and with Neeme Jarvi afterwards is certainly worth the purchase price. Back to a tuba related thread, their Prokofiev 5 is one of my all time favorites. I always listen to the first movement before an audition. What a band, and what a tam-tam!!!
