Hello, all.
Just wanted to let anyone who might be interested in on Oystein Baadsvik appearing in Baton Rouge, La.
Mr. Baadsvik will be appearing at LSU's School of Music in the Recital Hall on Friday, November 21st from 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. His appearance results from a joint collaboration between Dr. Joseph Skillen (at LSU) and Jake Miesner (at SLU). Oystein will only have the opportunity to teach a masterclass, so NO recital...however, he is a world-class musician and the opportunity to attend an event of this magnitude does not present itself often. All musicians, regardless of primary instrument or professional/amateur/hobbyist status are invited.
Please help pass the word around if you know anyone in the surrounding Louisiana, Mississippi, or Texas areas that may be interested in attending. Admission is free to all who come, and we look forward to a big turn-out. If directions or further information are needed, please feel free to e-mail me.
