Has anyone done this to their King 2341? It would be very useful to be able to adjust the tuning when using the 4th valve. The way this horn is set up makes it impossible to do so. I'm sending the horn to Ron Partch soon so any inputs would be great.
Here is the story:
I bought the horn back in May with the intend to pass it down to a student but I fell in love with it. I first used it in 1812 with the Kingston symphony this past summer. My fellow trombone players really liked the tone and yes, it has a 22" recording bell. Just point it where you want, it's a bonus in some halls. After 16 years of playing CC tuba, I just took some brain to get back to BBb but I now use both horns. I'm doing the Nutcracker with the Rudy 5/4 and did Glick (low Ds were nice and full) and Smetana with the King.

I grew up from the "Oh my God, I'd never play a BBb tuba" days!

Cheers
