Some older Conn, King etc. silver-plated instruments have a gold wash inner bell. I assume that it is a very thin gold plating on top of the silver, (but it might be gold lacquer)? Where would one send a bell (removable) to get this done correctly? The reason I ask, I have a 1939 Conn double bell euphonium, and would like to get the gold wash added to each bell.
