I just got an e-mail from a very angry customer who bought an old conn 5j from me on ebay. I understand his anger as he described for me the condition of the horn as it arrived arrived in 3 pieces, in a box in less than good condition.
I ship my sales from a company that packages and ships in one location. I pay extra for the box, packing materials, and insurance. I hope this helps the insurance battle I am about to wage against UPS and the company that ships for me.
The battle is about to begin, and I will ship by other means in the future as well. I should have gone the extra distance and gone by amtrak, and I will in the future.
