I also use the PT-88 on my big horn. I wouldn't get too terribly hung-up on finding a 'solo' mouthpiece right away. With a quick turn of the tone knob in your head you might just get what you are looking for.

With that said, you might give the PT-65 a whirl it a very unique mouthpiece. It works best with a very light touch and rewards the player with a very rich characteristic/dense sound that projects like mad yet still 'takes up space'. With the right approach it shouldn't change your intonation either.

If that doesn't suit you then take a look at the PT-72 as something that is somewhere in between the extremes of the 88 and 65.
