"solo" mouthpiece

Now that I am playing much more solo literature than before, I am currently trying to find a mouthpiece that fits me well. I currently play on a PT-88, which is great for ensemble playing (by the way, I play on a CC Kalison DS model). However, I am trying to play stuff like the Vaughan Williams, Persichetti Ser. #12, etc. and I realized that as great as a PT-88 sounds, I need a bit smaller mouthpiece so I do not have to rest my chops so frequently. The only mouthpiece that I have tried for this is the Schilke Helleberg, which I very much liked at first. However, I became increasingly dissatisfied with it once I realized that the tone was not as full as I would like, and the lower register did not speak well at all. In retrospect, it might have been a little smaller than I was looking for. What I am looking for is a mouthpiece that can soar in the upper register, but can pump out a nice, rich middle and lower register. Any suggestions? Thanks.
P.S. Rim comfort is a plus.
