I am in a local brass quintet. We play at wedings,openings, and give periodical concerts. We have business cards available for distribution at all of our performances. as far as getting publicized is concerned, if possible play (voluntarily) for grand openings. It doesn't hurt anything if you have a good friend that works at the local newspaper. Cheers.
