Hello.
I agree with your statement about CC v. BBb in colleges. Last year a guy I knew auditioned for the UGA band on a 3 valve, 3/4 size King BBb tuba. I never heard how the audition turned out, but he palyed it for me just beforehand and it sounded really good.

P.S. If he visits this site, I'm looking for the guy who sat 4th chair tuba last year at the UGA jan'Fest in the Douglas Band. I'd like to get in touch with you, see how everything turned out, etc.
