I am in search of purchasing a new horn before I transfer to a four-year university. I will hopefully be playing in a tuba ensemble, tuba quartet, brass quintet, wind ensemble, play as a soloist, and play maybe in an orchestra. My teacher has suggested either a MW-2145 or a PT-20. Any comments on either one of these horns? I know that everyone and every horn is different, but I would appreciate some comments which could help direct me. I am hoping to fly to Custom or Brasswind to try out horns and see for myself unless there are any offers nearby (I live in California). Thank you in advance for any advice or comments.
