The best thing to do with your CC is to put it in its case and sit on it while practising the F. Take the summer to learn it well. Let the F have its own music, i.e., develop a folder of tunes you will only play with the F. At the end of the summer the appropriate fingering and technique will spring into your head when you pick up either of the horns. Remember that after learning the F fingering you can play your CC in treble clef with ease. H.Critchley
