I sense that some people are annoyed by the fact that someone who auditioned recently turned down a job when offered to them.
It occurs to me that:
- A person might not know for sure that they would accept a job until the very moment it it offered to them (and thinking it over for several days thereafter).
- Something might suddenly change (improve) at one's current work situation that would keep them from leaving it.
- There's nothing really bad about raising the quality of the level of applicants, is there?...unless from the perspective of another applicant whose skills were shown to be not as well-honed.
