The only problem with this is that you may not be able to find exactly what you are looking for. Grand orchestral tubas, especially those that are very expensive, are usually bought with the intention of keeping them for a long period of time, and finding a used one is usually very difficult. Most people that I know that have bought tubas recently have taken out large student loans. Then your horn can be listed as 'educational' material, and you can use your loan money to cover it.
