Use the serial # chart that is listed for saxophones. These numbers actually apply to all instruments made by Martin. The first chart for Martin on that website is completely wrong. I know this because I've corresponded with Leblanc, (owner of the Martin name) on several occasions about serial numbers. The reason the correct chart is labeled "saxophones" is that it came from a saxophone website: http://www.saxgourmet.com/serial.html#martin
