On the back of the CC to BBb question, what would be the best way to teach a student to play the Eb bass at times when he regularly plays and will continue to play the BBb. Would it be best to just learn a second set of fingerings or is there some easy way to transpose in your head and continue to use the BBb fingerings. Im a frnch hornist and accustomed to transposing on the fly. I suppose many tubists are the same. Thanks for the read and ideas.
