Tubas were the last brasses to be added to the Sovereign series. I am not 100% sure, but I donot think it happened until the early 1980-ies.
Your instrument, if a Besson with compensating pistons, would be the NEW STANDARD model. If a Boosey & Hawkes it would be the IMPERIAL. The difference is in the engraving and in the valve buttons and cops.
