I played such a BBb for year in a symphonic band and had no trouble in the high register. I quit using the mouthpiece shenk and had my regular mouthpiece modified to fit the small receiver. In addition I played Bydlo on it in the Carnegie-Mellon University Community orchestra under the direction of Sydney Harth.
