Thanks for the reply Anthony. Do you know how to get in contact with john griffiths? I think I will try to get in touch with him. Also your assumptions are right on my citizenship. I was born born in the U.S. in the 70's from Canadian parents. I actually got my dual citizenship from Canada in 1991. I don't know if the U.S recognizes it though. When I started claiming dual citizenship when crossing the border, Canadian guards were OK but I ran into big hassles coming back. Comments like "I don't know what dual means" and "the US doesn't give dual citenship". Could be just uneducated guards, but I started getting asked for a passport or birth certificate for the first time since I was a kid. You seem like your in the know on this information. Any thoughts on this or the "if you want to keep it' post on losing my US citizenship if I vote or join the service in Canada.
