A Euphonium has a conical taper, a Baritone has cylindrical. A real tenor tuba is larger bored than a euph. The ones that I have seen and played have been rotary valved and really sound like a small tuba - different than a euph. Usually euphs are used as substitutes, mainly because tenor tubas are hard to find.
