Which Kalison do you play? A 2000 or D.S.? The 2001 is a lot better on intonation and overall sound. It's by far the best model they've produced. I like it better than the Willson.

The Rudy is a great suggestion.

I haven't played the Miraphone 1295, but if it plays as good as it looks on the website, it should be great. The few people that I have heard from that have played its predecessor, the 1290, swear by them. I understand that it's essentially the same horn with the tuning slides lowered to an accessable position. It's listed as a 5/4.

The MW 2155 is a 5/4.

There have been some nice things posted about the 5/4 custom Buescher at Dillon's.

If you want to go bigger still, the 6/4 VMI's at Brasswind or Brookmays have gotten some good ink here as well.

I would suggest surfing the shops page for other used/custom deals.
