Gregīs hint to the narrower cup is something I thought of immediately as well, and still think itīs probably going to help a great deal allready. Yes, your lips are likely to ībeef upī again, I sometimes take a few weeks off the horn during summer breaks. When I then come back to it again, my lips allways have slimmed down a certain amount, but so far Iīve never had much trouble getting them ībeefed upī. Good attacs in lower register are allways a tricky job, maybe you wanna try tongueing not behind your teeth, but further up front, maybe even as far as between your lips. To some this will sound like THE articulation-crime, but with a bit of practice it works. And Iīm doing that in a lower register only. say from something like low G downwards...
