There are plenty of band pieces that actually have written notes far below the staff.
Carmina Burana was mentioned in a previous post. Percy Grainger's Children's March ends on a written BBBb. In the brass band literature, Wilby's Revelations goes down to concert GGGb. One of Edgard Varese's pieces (Arcana?), albeit for orchestra, goes down to GGG.

Then there are all of the tuba solo pieces in subcontrabass range (Encounters II, et al.), but those are outside the scope of this thread.

What other band pieces have WRITTEN notes in the pedal range?
