What I think makes it interesting is there was a time when the Alex
factory in Mainz was building stencil horns too...apparently the folks
who marketed names like Sonora and Ziess went shopping and found
factories feeling hungry in the 60's and 70's. I'd wager that it'd be
VERY difficult to i.d. a lot of them without reasonable familiarity with
what the various name-brand horns were built like then. "very similar"
unfortunately gives a good idea, but "looks exactly like" would be more
positive (I know I know.....)
