It is my experience that when you blow straight ahead into the horn (PT-6) and buzz into the center of the pitch it responds correctly and produces a beautiful, rich, in tune sound. When you play with pressurized air the PT-6 will not respond correctly. The PT-6 doesn't cover up bad playing techniques. Of course "bad" could just be my opinion and if people want to play different horns because they make them sound a certain way then that's just fine. Not everybody has the same view on what a good sound is.

By the way, the kid who asked the origional question just wanted to know what kind of a horn to buy, and I told him. I didn't expect to start such a controversy. Geeeez.
